Lost to history. About time for a Modern return. One of the First French Cold Process Soap. Made by Avignon Master soap makers using New Orleans Cottonseed oil as a substitute for palm oil use in French process soaps.
A pure white soap made in the French method using Louisiana Cottonseed oil, Louisiana Peanut oil and Louisiana Cocoanut oil.
Savon Blanc à Froid is used in the same way as 72% palm oil Marseille soap and 72% copra and coconut oil Marseille soap. Savon Blanc à Froid is great for household cleaning and laundry.
Louisiana cottonseed oil and/or European processed imported Louisiana Cottonseed oil was imported into Avignon, France, near Marseille, to make Savon Blanc à Froid with groundnut oil (peanut oil), and coconut oil.
