Authentic New Orleans Mangoes and Creole cream cheese recipe

Ingredients
Fresh mangoes
Louisiana Cane Sugar
Louisiana Creole Cream cheese
Kitchen Utensils
- Large mixing bowl
- Kitchen towel
- Large Kitchen spoon
- Serving spoon
- Serving bowl or bowls
- 1 tablespoon
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Vegetable peeler or parsing
- 1.) Put the fresh market or garden grown mangoes into a large bowl.
- 2.) Wash clean, free of any debris or dirty with a little bit of French Marseille soap.
- 3.) Rinse the mangoes thoroughly.
- 4.) Pat dry each mango.
- 5.) Carefully Peel the skin off each mango using a vegetable peeler or a paring knife.
- 6.) Cut the each mango in to slices.
- 7.) Sprinkle an tablespoonful of Louisiana cane sugar onto the sliced mango pieces.
- 8.) With your hands or with a large kitchen spoon gentle stir the mango pieces so the cane sugar will be evenly distributed onto the mango slices.
- 9.) Scoop a cup full of sugared mango pieces into a bowl.
- 10.) With a clean towel, wipe the sides and lip of the bowl of mango juice, reminiscent and cane sugar particles.
- 11.) Set the bowl aside.
- 12.) Open a container of Louisiana Creole Creme cheese.
- 13.) Stir the Louisiana Creole creme cheese with a clean serving spoon.
- 14.) When the Creole creme cheese is smoothed, cream and the liquid resting at the top is now fully incorporated back into the creme cheese.
- 15.) Gently scoop a spoonful of creamy Louisiana Creole creme cheese on top of the sugared mango pieces.
- 16.) Carefully sprinkle a demi teaspoon of Louisiana cane sugar into the creme cheese.
- 17.) Served. Ét Voilà.
